Our client, well established construction equipment suppliers, require an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their Warehouse and Workshop team.
Reporting into the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, your key duties will include:
Maintaining all warehouse and workshop equipment.
Maintenance of Forklift Trucks and other machinery (which will include doing some welding and fabrication work).
Completing Loler certification for all lifting equipment.
Completing Pat testing in all new equipment.
Assist in creating a preventative maintenance environment within Astrak.
Assisting where required in installing and repairing equipment, material and property.
Completing Pat testing on new equipment and annual testing.
Repairing and completing quality control on track motors
Supporting in ensuring that all equipment meets or surpasses H&S requirements.
To be suitable for this challenging role you will ideally have the following key skills and experience:
Mechanical repair experience
Counterbalance licence.
Loadall licence.
Abrasive wheels.
Welding and fabrication experience.
Show a high level of competency and organisational skills
Working within a team environment providing a total quality service to internal and external customers.
Strong attention to detail.
Exhibiting a positive "can do" attitude and our Astrak values.
Loler certified or ability to be trained.In return you will received a salary of around £32,000pa ( may be flexible for the right candidate) + excellent benefits package, training and development.
