Head of Engineering
Where will you be working?
A grade one listed building with decades of history, and our engineering team ensures our building and facilities are in impeccable condition for our members, guests, customers, and team members, while keeping its heritage intact.
What will you be doing?
• You're the right hand of our Director of Engineering and Facilities and will help with managing budget, capital expenditures, and preventative maintenance, along with deputising in their absence
• On a day-to-day basis, you're the head of department, overseeing the engineering operations
• We're passionate about our listed building and you're accountable for all maintenance, with particular attention to safety, security, and asset protection
• Keeping track of the status of work assigned to all of your team members and contractors is essential
• Communication is key to our success, and you'll use your great skills to increase guest and team member satisfaction
• You'll assist in managing the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and life safety systems
• A commercial thinker, you'll manage parts, supplies, and equipment inventories effectively by minimising downtime and maximising cash flow
• As a technical liaison for all departments in the building, you'll establish priorities for total property maintenance needs
