Fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent, Small Animal practice in Bedfordshire that is highly renowned as one of the best in the area. They are an independently owned, progressive clinic aiming to work to the highest clinical standards.
The practice is hoping to move in the near future to a new, state of the art premises where you will find CT scanner, hydrotherapy treadmill, separate ortho suite and much, much more.
My client is looking for a caring and clinically motivated Veterinary Surgeon with a positive attitude. They are a 7 Vet, independent, one site clinic which is 100% small animal, where you will be working alongside 1 certificate holder in Small Animal Surgery as well as another Vet currently studying towards a certificate.
This is also a Nurse training practice so you can be sure this team will provide the highest standard of care, 100% of the time.
The successful candidate will be a friendly, compassionate, and proactive Veterinary Surgeon who is keen to work in a in supportive environment where they will be actively encouraged to grow. Someone who is happy to work in a busy environment whilst taking pride in providing exceptional patient care.
The practice is happy to consider Vets with a range of experience. New graduates are welcome and will have access to a new graduate scheme with plenty of support on offer. There is also a fantastic case load available for a Vet who is wanting to start a certificate or already working towards one.
The practice is excellently located just a short walk to the town centre, whilst being only a 30-minute drive to Luton Airport and a 50 minute train into central London. If you are looking for more to do in the outdoors, there are several national parks and nature reserves locally.
The Role:
• A fantastic work/life balance: 4-day week with one finish at 5pm
• 1 in 7 Saturdays and day back in lieu the following week
• No OOH
Benefits:
• Salary up to £65,000 DOE
• 5 days off for CPD and £1000 budget annually - Certificates are encouraged and funded with additional days off
• 28 days holiday plus bank holidays - plus an extra 5 days unpaid if required
