As a Quality Assurance Auditor at Humdinger, you will be at the forefront of championing food safety and quality within our factory, completing daily audits, customer complaints and investigations, taste panels and much more!

Pay Rate: £14.86

Shifts:

Monday – Saturday

3 on 4 off

18:00 – 06:00

Hours: 36

3 x 20 minutes PAID breaks

The first 2 weeks the successful candidate will be on day shift for training, you will then go onto night shift in week 3.

Responsibilities:

 •  Ensure that the product quality and safety standards are always maintained and that the product that is manufactured meets the customer’s specifications and is legally compliant in all aspects.
 •  Ensure that the site is audit ready at all times and that strict GMP standards are maintained across manufacturing and warehouse sites.
 •  Key responsibility for internal auditing of the QMS system. Perform routine audits as per the required schedule, including but not exhaustive; Hygiene audits, GMP, Pest control, Glass, and hard Plastics, raising non-conformances where the standards are not being met and following through to ensure effective closure of corrective actions.
 •  Completing swabbing and samples by the schedule (hand swabs, rapid swabs, water samples etc.).
 •  Identifying conformance and non-conformances.
 •  Submitting, reviewing and challenging finished product testing regimes and results.
 •  Provide support to the QA Manager.
 •  Ensuring that policies, procedures, and work instructions are followed at all times and where deviation from a specification is seen, concessions are agreed upon and in place.
 •  Investigate complaints and report on findings to QA Manager.
 •  Carry out thorough foreign body investigation where required ensuring a timely investigation and strong root cause is identified.
 •  Collection of samples for testing such as validation, shelf life and nutritional.
 •  Carrying out end-of-life testing on the product to ensure it still meets the quality parameters throughout life.
 •  Detailed review of documentation and traceability exercises were required.
 •  Additional responsibilities will include works order and specification management and issuing; some quality control checks and ensuring taste panels are presented and completed.

Qualifications:

 •  A passion for product quality and working to procedure and process.
 •  Strong attention to detail.
 •  Experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
 •  Well-developed communication skills – able to present written and verbal reports that are understood by the target audience. Can communicate with both internal and external contacts and stakeholders at all levels.
 •  Good team building - Work well within a team and provide support to other teams.
 •  Confident – Ability to challenge non-compliance.
 •  Strong computer skills – confidence in working with all aspects of Microsoft Office.
 •  Good problem-solving skills – Knowledge of 5 why and root causes would be desirable but not essential.
 •  Internal Auditing – Desirable but not essential.
 •  Food Hygiene Level 2.
 •  HACCP level 2 minimum.
