Bennett & Game have the pleasure of representing a well-established RIBA Chartered Practice based in Huddersfield who are looking to take on a Design Manager to join their team of talented individuals. Senior Architectural Technologists of all levels are encouraged to apply who are looking to make the move to Design Management, as our client are receptive in their search.
Design Manager Position Benefits

Design Manager Position Overview
• Overseeing the technical detailing and quality control of the team's drawings & details
• Providing high level technical advice to existing team whilst supporting and training of less experienced staff
• Work on a variety of social housing projects through all RIBA plan of works
• Produce and oversee high-quality drawings on AutoCAD & Revit
• Attendance at Client and Contractor Design/Technical review meetings
• Management of RFI's and IRS's
Design Manager Position Requirements
• High level construction technical knowledge
• Proficient user AutoCad, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign (proficient in Revit preferable)
• MCIAT qualified preferable
• Proven experience in a comparable Design Office environment
• A thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations is essential (to include all stages of the RIBA plan of works)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and written articulation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A team player with the determination to drive projects forward
