Role Summary: As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing fire protection projects in the Stevenage area. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Fire Risk Assessments:
• Conduct thorough fire risk assessments for various types of buildings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and recommend necessary improvements.
2. Passive Fire Protection:
• Supervise the installation of fire-resistant materials, such as fire doors, fire-resistant partitions, and fire-stopping systems.
• Collaborate with contractors and ensure quality workmanship.
3. Active Fire Protection:
• Manage the installation and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems.
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians to ensure timely inspections and repairs.
4. Health and Safety:
• Prioritize health and safety on-site.
• Oversee adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:
• Experience: Previous experience in site management within the fire protection industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with passive fire protection materials and active fire suppression systems.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and clients.
• Problem-Solving Attitude: Proactive approach to resolving challenges on-site.
• Full UK Driving License: Regular travel to project sites is required.
