As the Year 6 Class Teacher, you will play a central role in guiding and inspiring students during this crucial stage of their education. Your responsibilities will include delivering engaging and challenging lessons, creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment, and contributing to the holistic development of our Year 6 students.

Position: Year 6 Class Teacher
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Salary Scale: £125-£220
Contract Type: Full-time

Responsibilities of a Year 6 Class Teacher:

As a Year 6 Class Teacher you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons to Year 6 students, preparing them for their transition to secondary school.

Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters a love for learning.

As a Year 6 Class Teacher you will assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curriculum activities.

As a Year 6 Class Teacher you will build positive relationships with students and contribute to their social and emotional development.

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay informed about educational innovations.

Qualifications and Skills of a Year 6 Class Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Proven experience as a Class Teacher, preferably in a Year 6 setting.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for teaching and a commitment to the holistic development of students.
