Our client, a leading provider of domestic gas boiler and renewable heating installations, is seeking an experienced Installation Department Manager to oversee the daily operations of their Installation team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the Installation Department, ensuring efficient use of resources and high levels of customer service
• Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement within the department
• Onboard and train new employees, providing development opportunities
• Liaise with the Head of Department on WIPs, quotes, and invoicing targets
• Coordinate multiple workstreams and manage health & safety risks
• Oversee large programs and projects, including client liaison
• Raise purchase orders, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings
• Provide administrative support to the Head of Department as needed
• Quote and estimate new work based on SoR codes
• Manage client/manufacturer portals and customer certificate distribution
Ideal Candidate:
• Previous experience managing installation programs and reactive works in a social housing environment
• Strong financial awareness and relevant trade experience
• Excellent communication and team player skills
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Full UK driving license
