A highly successful and over-subscribed mixed 11-18 academy near Lincoln are seeking to appoint a motivated, exceptional Teacher of Business Studies to start in September 2024. The role is full-time, permanent appointment.

The school has been identified by Ofsted in March 2019 as an 'Outstanding' school in all areas of its practice; by the DfE as a Lead Behaviour School and by the SSAT as a High Attaining School. Their latest Progress 8 Score (in 2019) was + 0.39; whilst at A Level, 69% of students achieved A*-B grades.

The Department is expanding due to the popularity of Business and Economics at both GCSE & A Level. Furthermore, at Key Stage 5 they have had great success in delivering the OCR Level 3 Cambridge courses. The successful candidate will be supported in a strong and well-resourced department.
All rooms have interactive whiteboards, excellent resources (including access to an IT suite) and the services of an administrative assistant.

The school are looking for a Teacher of Business Studies who:

Has excellent subject knowledge and strong teaching skills
Is able to build positive relationships with all learners and is committed to raising attainment of all students
Will work collaboratively within the Business and either ICT/Computer Science or Maths teams to contribute to the success of the department(s)
