HR Officer
My client is well established care provider, providing care for Adults in Haringey/North London. They are currently looking for a experienced HR Manager to join their growing company.
Your role as the HR Officer will be reporting directly to the Managing Director. The role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is able to operate across multiple levels of the organisation:
• Operational level – providing HR day to day support to individuals and teams
• Strategic level – take ownership of the HR and People Development Strategy for the business.
Responsibilities:
• Providing generalist HR support to both managers and employees, this will include for example dealing with investigations, grievances, performance issues, etc.. The HR support will need to be provided to both our office employees and our care workers
• Acting as the initial point of contact for and supporting the resolution of general HR queries
• For employment matters you are also required to be the primary liaison with our employment support service, this includes our legal helplines and the solicitor firms we partner with
• Managing all employee relations issues and providing line managers with advice and support in line with current employment law and best practice, this include but not limited to Working Time Regulations and National Living Wage
• Monitoring and reporting of HR performance targets, including sick leave, staff turnover and other key metrics
• Assisting with internal ongoing projects such as benchmarking of company compensation and benefits, enriching our employee offer
• Invest in growing our Managers to become better People Managers - coordinate the training and development for all staff and identify areas of growth for future development, identify training gaps and opportunity and suitable solutions
• Co-ordinate our yearly performance development process, this includes facilitating the creation of yearly objectives and a 9-box conversation with line managers and Directors
This role is suitable for full-time arrangements only.
• Salary up to £36K p.a. depending on experience
• Holiday entitlement: 28 days annual leave (including public holidays)
