Elevation Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced process engineer to join a key client of ours, local to the Huddersfield area and specialist manufacturers within FMCG.

This is an excellent opportunity, reporting into the Operations Director you will work closely in deploying the group strategies, improving all aspects of industrial processes, efficiencies, cost, sustainability, and profitability.

This Process Engineer will be responsible for:

Designing, implementing, and optimising manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
Conducting process simulations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to identify opportunities or improvements.
Collaborate cross functionally with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
Monitor production metrics, analyse data and identify trends for root cause inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement process control strategies to maintain product consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to production teams to resolve process-related issues promptly.
If you thrive on challenges and excel in streamlining operations within FMCG and have the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related subject highly desired.
Demonstrable experience gained in process engineering for within a FMCG environment with a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and best practices.
Proficient in process simulation software.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
