PM Group is looking for Process Engineer with FEED & Plant-based experience to support a fine chemical site in West Yorkshire.
Responsibilities
• Fast-track development of a brownfield project to get to +/-30% capital cost estimate
• Engineering documentation including BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs and / or modifications to existing
• Equipment lists, datasheets & design calculations for new and existing equipment
• Scoping & Pricing equipment and presenting proposals to senior management
• Development of risk assessments.
• Completion of all appropriate safety studies within defined timeframe
• Other tasks in-keeping with the remit of a chemical engineering consultant
• Overseeing the Installation & Commissioning phases
Qualifications
• Candidates must have proven experience of working as a process engineer primarily in bulk chemicals
• Knowledge of standard industry practices, procedures and safety measures is essential, including a deep understanding of GMP and process safety practices.
• The successful candidates will have strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to challenge and work with other technical engineers and project stakeholders.
• Candidates should have a degree in chemical engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Experience in process modelling software would be advantageous, particularly Aspen plus.
