Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the culinary team in various tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in food preparation and meal assembly
• Assist in making sure the kitchen is clean and tidy
• Kitchen Portering may be required at times
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Support the culinary team with various tasks as needed
• Follow food safety guidelines and protocols
• Help with catering orders and restaurant service
• Collaborate with cooks and chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Skills:
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Experience in meal preparation and basic culinary skills
• Familiarity with kitchen operations
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is a plus
