Actio Technical Recruitment are assisting one of our highly successful Poole-based Electronics clients with their search for an NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer.

The Role

In this dynamic role, the successful candidate will work with different departments, customers and suppliers to introduce new products and machinery into the manufacturing process.

Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, your main duties will include:
 •  Production and maintenance of documentation
 •  Programming of surface mount (SMT), selective and concoat machines
 •  Responding to queries from customers and all other areas of the company
 •  Machine maintenance and associated record keeping
 •  Undertaking engineering continuous improvement projects
 •  Analyse documentation and determine production best practice
 •  Creation of jigs and tooling
 •  Understanding new projects and communicating the needs of the project throughout the company
 •  Following product from prototype through to full assembly
 •  Introducing new manufacturing techniques where necessary
About You
We are looking for someone who has a proven interest in Engineering, knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiar with regulatory standards such as AS9100.

 •  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Engineering experience is desirable, but training will be provided on internal processes.
Pay and Benefits
£30,000-£40,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
On-site parking
Monday to Thursday – 4 day week.
