Responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:
• Manage all financial activities of the company, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and standards.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee and check employee payroll.
• Facilitating communication with lenders regarding the financing of company assets.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with audit and tax requirements.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Assist the finance team, providing support, and training as needed to develop their skills and expertise.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decision-making processes with accurate financial information.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial risk management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise financial processes and systems.
The successful Finance Manager will:
• Have proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
• Possess a strong understanding of management accounting principles and practices.
• Own excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Be able to communicate financial information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Ideally be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
