Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: £24-26 per hour

To support our mission, we are seeking a skilled and passionate Locum Community Mental Health Practitioner (RMN/SW/OT) to join our team on a temporary basis.

Job Description: As a Locum Community Mental Health Practitioner within our Eating Disorders Team (Band 6), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals affected by eating disorders. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, and implement interventions to promote recovery and improve individuals' overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with eating disorders, including physical and mental health assessments.
 •  Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with individuals, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
 •  Provide evidence-based interventions and therapeutic support to address the complex needs of individuals with eating disorders.
 •  Monitor individuals' progress and adjust care plans as necessary, ensuring continuity of care.
 •  Offer support and guidance to individuals' families and carers, promoting understanding and involvement in the recovery process.
 •  Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Requirements:

 •  Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Social Worker (SW), or Occupational Therapist (OT) with a valid professional registration.
 •  Minimum of 2 years of experience working in mental health, with specific experience in eating disorders preferred.
 •  Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
 •  Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
 •  Commitment to providing person-centered care and promoting recovery.
 •  Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
