We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are thrilled to be working with a nationally-touring performing arts organisation, based in South Glamorgan. Alongside a programme of productions and performances, the organisation has a range of participation programmes which provides opportunities for adults and young people to engage with the performing arts.
They are now seeking a Fundraising Manager to help guide the growth of the organisation.
Working closely with Senior Leadership, the Fundraising Manager will hold responsibility for developing and delivering an ambitious fundraising and development strategy. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and outcome-focussed fundraiser, with experience across various income streams, but a particular focus on fundraising from Trusts or Statutory sources will be highly beneficial.
The organisation is part funded by the Arts Councils of both England and Wales, and the Fundraising Manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships with these funders, along with the acquisition of new funding from Trusts and Foundations, Corporate, and private sources.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Fundraising Manager to make a real impact as part of an exciting and forward-thinking, nationally active organisation!
Fundraising Manager
Full Time, Permanent
South Glamorgan, Hybrid Working
Salary – Up to £40,000
Duties will include:
• Developing and implementing an ambitious, but sustainable, fundraising strategy
• Managing and maintaining relationships with existing funders
• Researching, identifying, and applying for funding from a range of sources
• Reporting on fundraising activities, both to funders and the board of trustees
• Line managing the Development Officer
The ideal candidate will:
• Be a strategically-minded and outcome-focussed fundraiser
• Have experience of working to targets and budgets
• Be a persuasive and compelling communicator, both verbally and in writing
• Have proven success in securing funding from a range of sources, particularly Trusts and Statutory sources
• Be an effective and inspiring line manager to the Development Officer
