The Role - Internal Sales Manager
Day to day the role will encompass many different aspects but broadly you will be responsible for managing an internal sales team who are responsible for onboarding customer of varying sizes, on to the lead generation platform. They strive to provide excellent customer service and help their customers to get the most return on investment from their subscriptions.
Managing a growing team of people you will utilise your previous sales management experience to coach, develop and performance manage the team to give the customers a great experience and help the team to achieve their KPI’s.
For the successful candidate there is scope to grow the new business development team as the company looks to grow significantly over the next 12 to 18 months.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive a performance culture with the customer at the heart of everything
• Conducting regular coaching 1-2-1’s
• Performance management and implementing people management policies and procedures
• Sales process improvement
• Manipulating data through excel to help make key management decisions
• Compiling accurate reports, analysing statistics and liaising with senior leadership on areas for potential improvement
• Defining and implementing Key Performance Indicators to raise the overall performance of the team
• Regular call listening and screening to help coach and develop the team
• Managing the ongoing training plan and delivery for new and existing team members
• Recruitment and Onboarding of new team members
Requirements
• A minimum of 3 years of managing an internal sales team with a demonstrable and evidenced track record
• Intermediate MS 365 skills with and emphasis on Excel
• Coaching experience with a preference for individuals who have a formal qualification
• A track record of implementing and managing KPI’s
• Experience of managing teams through CRM
• Comfortable with working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Comfortable with autonomy and change
• A keen motivator of people
• Development and growth mindset
• Preferable but not necessarily required,SaaS experience, lead generation, marketing and funnel management and understanding of SEO and PPC
