Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are recruiting for General Assistants in partnership with Dnata Catering at Glasgow Airport. This job offers fantastic hours and overtime opportunities. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company and fantastic conditions and facilities.
What’s on offer:
• Rate of pay: £12.73.
• Shift pattern: 5 out of 7 days, 2 days off (Must be fully flexible across all 7 days).
• Free Parking on Site.
• Free meals and hot beverages on site.
• Hours per week: 40 hours per week - The warehouse is operational 24 hours a day.
• Shift timings: Earliest start time 04:00am, Latest Finish 23:30pm (8- or 10-hour shifts)
• Weekly Pay (every Friday).
• Temp to Perm (performance based).
Key Duties:
• Supporting the operation in one of three departments; Equipment, employees stock handle and packaged key items for our airline partners.
• Washing equipment from inflight meals, wash and clean dishes and cutlery from returning flights.
• The Hot and Cold Kitchen department will plate in-flight meals to a set menu, for both Economy and First-Class. All food is already prepared, and you will plate the trays up against a set menu image either from a Ipad or Printed image.
• Always maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Requirements:
• Great work ethic.
• The ability to work well on your own as well as within a team.
• Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card.
• UK Settled Status (If applicable).
• Proof of National Insurance.
• Proof of (current) Address.
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
