Senior Structural Engineer - required for our client who are a consultancy based in Gateshead. The Senior Structural Engineer will be working on a wide range building structures projects within the Commercial, Residential, Retail, Educational, Manufacturing, Retail and historical Sectors.
The Structural Engineer will be working for a company that are heavily invested in technology and will be involved using Building Information Modelling software on projects.
Senior Structural Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary UP to £55k DOE
Regular pay reviews
35 hour week - half day Friday
Unique workload
21 Days holiday + BH + Christmas shutdown

Overall responsibility for delivery of projects
Delivery of scheme designs and detailed design including full tender and construction packages
Attendance at client, design & site meetings, site inspections and reporting
Resource and Management of engineers & technicians
Contribute towards producing bids and tenders
Carrying out structural surveys of buildings and structures, providing advice on any issues that may arise
Overseeing engineering design
Compliance with the duties of Designer under the CDM regulations 2015.Senior Structural Engineer Position Requirements
MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
Membership of the IStructE, and working towards chartership
Minimum 8 years structural design
