Job Description for the Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk: Ensure the clarity of financial processes are adhered to and well-communicatedPosting of Purchase invoices accuratelyRaising Sales invoices accuratelyReconcile Sales and Purchase Ledger weekly & monthlyProduce payment runs for review at scheduled intervalsEnsure processes are followed by liaising with managersPrepare monthly and year-end financial reports and reconciliations For the Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk role, it would be good to see candidateswith the following experience: Strong knowledge of Sage Accounting, Tracker systems, and data entry AAT qualified preferred but not essentialExperience in the posting of large-volume invoicesExperience in VAT recharges and CIS DeductionsNominal Coding of Supplier invoicesReconciliation of monthly Credit Card purchases Hours: 37.5 hours a week start times from 8:00 am, 8:30, or 9:00 amSalary: £24,000 per annum This role is commutable from Newcastle Under Lyme, Stoke on Trent, Crewe Brampton Recruitment is an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
