This large state of the art purpose-built care home, offers the latest in quality care, luxury, and choice, providing residential, nursing and dementia care for older people, this flagship home benefits from having a beautiful courtyard, sensory gardens, and areas reserved for music, entertainment, and social events.
You will be responsible for:
• To manage, develop and evaluate all aspects of service provision in the home, within policy guidelines ensure that all relevant legislation, organisational Policies and Procedures and codes of practice are adhered to.
• The manager must be able to manage a large team, leadership will be key to success for the staff team and the relatives.
• To be responsible for the management and supervision of staff to enable them to maximise their potential, through leadership, coaching, example, support and guidance.
• Establish and maintain in the home the atmosphere and practice of care based on the values of the provider, deriving from a concern for the individual and mutual respect between residents and staff.
To be considered for this role of General Manager you will need the following experience:
• Relevant qualifications in Management (MBA / NVQ Level 7)
• It is essential that you have experience operating as a GM within a large-scale care, hotel or retail operations in a complex business environment.
• You will be a dedicated people leader with a proven ability to nurture and develop talent at all levels.
• As a senior leader in the business, you will have a strategic mindset and the ability to drive vision and purpose, along with managing multiple stakeholders, therefore experience working closely with owners or in a 3rd party management model will be crucial to the success of this role.
• A strong commercial outlook, determined to achieve results, along with excellent customer care and focus.
• High standards, a can-do attitude, be results driven and have excellent attention to detail.
• You will have demonstrated exceptional leadership across multi-disciplinary teams and be an expert in achieving the best results from staff teams.
The role of General Care Manager is offering £80,000 - £85,000 + Possible relocation package, along with an excellent benefits and achievable bonus package, salary range is dependent on candidate experience.
