Groundcare Equipment Engineer

As a Groundcare Engineer you will service and repair Groundcare equipment from chippers to chainsaws, mowers to tractors, utility vehicles to trailers both on hire from the company or customer owned equipment; maintaining the quality, safety, reliability, and availability of hired/customer owned stock in a cost-effective manner.
Package
• 40 hours per/week, Monday to Friday.
• £14-16 per/hour with overtime at 1.5x & 2x pay.
• Holiday allowance of 20 days increased to 25 days when you hit 5 years of service.

Duties
• Routine service and maintenance of all hired/customer owned equipment and products where required.
• Liaise with the Operations Manager when spare parts are required to ensure cost effective repairs.
• Advise the Operations Manager of repairs covered under warranty.
• Ensure service records are maintained and updated onto the inhouse systems and job sheets are populated correctly.
• Adhere to the damage process and ensure product damage is highlighted.
• Ensure that all equipment is cleaned to the highest standard ready for hire.
• Maintain and ensure maximum productivity in line with company targets.
• Carry out other tasks and duties as required, including assisting in other departments when necessary.
• Ensure your workplace is safe, tidy, and organised always.
