Aspire People is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1-1 Teaching Assistant to support a student in Key Stage 2 (KS2) in the Rugby area. The successful candidate will work closely with the student, providing tailored assistance to meet their educational and developmental needs.
Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support to a student in Key Stage 2.
Assist with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and mathematics.
Implement individualised learning plans to support the student's progress.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with the classroom teacher to develop appropriate strategies and interventions.
Monitor and record the student's progress, and communicate with parents/guardians as necessary.
Ensure the student's safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements: Can work with challenging behaviour.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably working with children in KS2.
Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
