Anderson Knight is recruiting for an Electricity Asset Engineer (Multi Utility) who would like to help our client reach their mission of ‘making lasting connections with our customers to improve their lives’.
Key responsibilities:
• To assist the Asset Manager and Policy & Standards Engineer with the development of the Companies Inspection and Maintenance policy and standards.
• Support the Electricity Asset Audit team and the inspection of assets.
• To review and prioritise any remedial works necessary because of feedback from the Electricity Asset Audit team (non-conformances).
• Work closely with Head of Electricity Asset Management, Asset Manager, clients, contractors, and internal resources to ensure that the standards are complaint with all relevant Legislation.
• Responsible for supporting all Health and Safety issues regarding the Maintenance of networks.
About you:
• Minimum of HNC standard in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Have a good understanding of the operation and maintenance of electrical distribution plant and have at least 3 years working within a Multi Utility Business
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• The ability to write technical standards for implementation on the Electrical Distribution Network up to 33kV
