Hales Group are currently seeking a Refuse Loader to join our client based in Lowestoft.

To load refuse/recycling/garden waste onto the collection vehicle whilst taking care for Health and Safety and customer care. To cleanse, litter pick, empty cleansing bins or hand sweep areas maintained by our client on a daily basis.

Main Duties of Refuse Loader Include:

Handling containers (mainly wheeled bins/plastic sacks and boxes) and loading refuse/green waste/recycling into the collection vehicle.
Operating the bin-lift mechanism.
Loading bulky waste and special collections as required.
Complete daily rounds as efficiently and effectively as possible whilst following appropriate procedures for the health and safety of the refuse crew, and members of the public.
Assisting the driver when manoeuvring and reversing the vehicle.

In order to be considered for the role of Refuse Loader:

Able to effectively communicate with clients/customers, agency organisations/departments, staff workforce and colleagues.
Demonstrate ability to control and manage all resources to secure optimum efficiency and high standards of service delivery.
Ability to work using your own intiative and as part of a team.

Be physically and medically fit to undertake the role as required by the conditions of your licence
LOCATION : Lowestoft
HOURS: 6am – 4.45pm
ROTA: Working 4 days from 5 between Monday and Friday
PAY: £13.24 per hour
DURATION: Temporary – minimum of 1 month
