Location - Bo'ness

Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 13.30 - 22.00
Days of Work: Tuesday - Saturday

Working part of a FMCG organisation you will work as a Production Manager - Supply Material.

The role is very much a valued part of the work force!

The Role:

You will maintain and manage the materials supply function for the organisation with experience in working within a fast paced environment.

You will lead and motivate the teams and drive both individual and functional performance and material efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

 •  Pro-actively managing Health & Safety
 •  Leading and driving standards of quality, hygiene and housekeeping within your area through (G.M.P.)
 •  The recruitment of direct reports and an involvement in all staff recruitment within your area
 •  Review processes and drive continuous improvement within the team
 •  Ensure forecast is reviewed and updated.
 •  Review potential disposals and address root cause issues
 •  Engender an approach within the team that is production facing and that which would be expected from a support function.
 •  Ensure stock value is understood and levels challenged in all units.
 •  Ensure that representation at the daily operations review meeting.
 •  Liaise with production areas and support functions to pro-actively manage any upcoming issues.
 •  Supplier relationships
 •  Attend weekly S&OP meetings.
 •  Issue weekly KPI pack to site execs.
 •  Hold a regular Planning/Materials Control meeting.
 •  Enhance the team performance through development, performance management and recruitment
