Job Title: Maintenance Operative / Handy Person
Location: Near Cheshunt (exact location provided upon application)
Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend working during peak times)
Responsibilities:
Undertake minor reactive repairs and carry out planned maintenance works.
Painting and Decorating: Ensure student rooms and common areas are well-maintained and visually appealing
Shifting Furniture: Assist with moving furniture as needed.
Repairing Things: Fixing minor issues such as broken fixtures, leaky taps, etc.
Grounds Maintenance: Keep the outdoor areas tidy and well-kept.
Health and Safety Checks: Regularly inspect and address safety-related concerns.
Refuse & Recycling Management: Manage waste disposal efficiently.
Occasional Travel: Periodically travel to Watford and Stevenage for additional maintenance tasks.Requirements:
Previous experience in maintenance or handy person roles.
