Job Title – Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
Job Location – Co. Fermanagh (Site Visits may be required)
Salary – Competitive
About the Company:
Our client that has numerous years’ experience carrying out commercial, industrial, educational, medical, leisure and housing projects for both the Public and Private sector have a requirement for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team.
They are looking for an individual who will embed themselves in the values of the company and work hard as part of the team but also working efficiently on their own and having excellent time management skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.
• Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems.
• Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation.
• Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments.
• Preparation of Interim valuations and final account.
• Managing and valuing variations.
• Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts.
• Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships.
• Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself.
Requirements:
• Third level qualification in QS or Construction management.
• 5+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying Role.
• Proficient in Microsoft excel and project.
• Driven Team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Clean Driver’s License.
