Hours: Full time, Permanent | 40 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 per annum + bonus scheme
Our award-winning client is looking for an Assistant Manager to join their growing team!
Supervising the team, you will drive the team to meet sales targets, working with clients from initial contact through to delivery whilst ensuring requirements are met and excellent customer service is provided at all times.
Please note, our client operates across 6 days a week (08:30 - 17:00), including Saturdays (09:00 – 17:00). You will be required to work every other Saturday.
Key Responsibilities of an Assistant Manager
• Drive business performance support the store manager in driving business performance.
• Establish and work towards short- and long-term business goals, taking accountability and responsibility for performance results.
• Offer coaching and leadership to the team, providing constructive feedback to increase service levels.
• Communicate with existing and new clients in person and over the phone.
• Gather client requirements whilst establishing and maintaining a good working relationship.
• Work with clients from initial contact through to delivery, responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintain client accounts, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
• Drive the team to meet sales targets, contacting local businesses and domestic customers.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Organised, efficient, and good timekeeping.
