Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Location: Runcorn, Liverpool
Employment Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable secondary school in Runcorn, Liverpool.
This is an opportunity to work one-on-one with an SEN student, providing vital support and assistance in their educational journey.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with an SEN student, providing individualized support and guidance to facilitate their learning and development.
• Assist the student with academic tasks, ensuring they understand concepts and materials presented in class.
• Implement strategies and interventions tailored to the student's specific needs and learning style.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the student's confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement personalized learning plans for the student.
• Monitor and track the student's progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
• Understanding of various SEN conditions and familiarity with strategies for supporting students with diverse needs.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents/guardians, and external professionals.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and the school environment.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications in special education or related fields are desirable but not essential.
