Our factory and design department are based in Berkshire, from where we serve a client base across the UK and EMEA which includes blue chip companies, global brands, and companies as well as collaborations with leading architectural practices.

About the Role

Due to growth and the acquisition of a new flatbed printer, we are looking for an experienced consultative Sales Specialist who can inspire new and existing clients to purchase ambient solutions, specified and manufactured by the Cobal team of in-house experts.
Working from our Newbury office, you will be joining a small highly motivated established team as we translate and deliver client projects and brand aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
 •  Create, build and maintain excellent client relationships with new and existing businesses.
 •  Visit client sites for pitch/briefing meetings and surveys.
 •  Manage the sales cycle of ambient solutions, inspiring clients and progressing the sales process including providing accurate and timely quotations and proposals, liaising with the supporting team to resolve specifications, and the Sales Office Manager to agree margins and strategy.
 •  Negotiate orders and contracts ensuring commerciality that aligns with the sales strategy.
 •  Support the sales strategy, including participating in trade shows, further training, client visits and supply chain meetings where appropriate.
 •  Support the internal team with order/project delivery, completing comprehensive handovers, attending design reviews, and resolving client issues.
 •  Collaborating with the office and factory to aid communication.

About You

You will need to be a goal-orientated, thrive on challenges and demonstrate a passion for consultative selling, the ability to interpret design and engineering drawings, and the skills to analyse and apply commercial data to support and drive business decisions will be key to your success.

Your personal credibility, sound judgement and exceptional communication skills, alongside your experience selling, technically specifying, manufacturing, and managing the installation of printed surface films and other ambient solutions will be advantageous in this role.

You will be a car owner with a valid driving licence, ideally, located within an hour’s commute of Newbury.
