Hardware Product Manager

Location: Caerphilly, Wales - Hybrid 1-2 days a week

Join a dynamic and innovative team at the forefront of automotive technologies. We are looking for an experienced Hardware Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of their hardware solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in defining product requirements, managing the development life-cycle, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products to their customers.
This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of working 1-2 days in the office and the rest remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Define product strategy and road-map based on market analysis, customer feedback, and business objectives.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to translate product requirements into hardware specifications.
Manage the development life-cycle, from concept to production, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Drive the prioritisation of features and enhancements, balancing technical feasibility, market demand, and business impact.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for innovation.
Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and alignment throughout the product life-cycle.
Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction, gathering feedback to inform future iterations and enhancements.Qualifications and experience

5+ years of experience in hardware-based product manager roles.
Strong background in firmware, embedded software, or electronics development life-cycle.
Proven track record of successfully launching hardware products from concept to production.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
