Your new company are a market leader in their field and are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Your new role will include but not be limited to:
• Input of high volume invoices for various entities
• Checking for errors including entities, nominal ledger coding, analysis coding, currency, VAT code and correct supplier account selection
• Holding invoices not approved
• Weekly payment runs
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Validating VAT and Withholding Tax returns for accuracy
• Controlling contractor weekly and monthly invoices
• Maintaining control spreadsheet
• Liaising with contractors and agencies for missing invoices
• Other ad hoc tasks as required
What you'll need to succeed
• Experience in a purchase ledger role previously dealing with high volumes and values
• Experience of entering multi-currency and multi-company invoices
• Excellent data entry skills - speed and accuracy
• UK VAT knowledge
• Attention to detail
• Good working use of Microsoft Excel
