About our School- Teacher of Humanities

Our inclusive and friendly Secondary Academy is a ‘Good’ school in the heart of Maidstone with over 900 pupils aged 11 to 16. About the Role – Teacher of Humanities

We are looking to appoint a full-time outstanding Teacher of Humanities who can inspire and excite students in their learning of Geography and Citizenship.You will be joining a well-resourced department that is driven in our focus on raising achievement.
Geography and Citizenship are popular options at GCSE and the post offers outstanding opportunities for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher.The person appointed would be supported by the Lead in Geography and Citizenship and will join a team of specialist teachers in the Humanities department.

As well as our state-of-the-art facilities, and innovative digital curriculum, we have an exciting programme of trips, visits, visitors and extra-curricular activities.Our Academy value positive working relationships and seek individuals who will support this ethos.
We are very excited about the future of Geography and Citizenship in our Academy, and we are ready to invest in the right people to ensure its success.
