JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Site Operative / Construction Worker who enjoys working outside on a wide range of projects and is capable of performing manual task such as lifting, digging and using hand tools.

Working as the Site Operative / Construction Worker you will assist in various tasks to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects within a team based environment.

As Site Operative / Construction Worker you must be fine with working outside in the elements with a positive and pro-active approach to your work.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Site Operative / Construction Worker include:

 •  Assist in the preparation of construction sites before the commencement of work
 •  Operate and maintain construction equipment and machinery safely and efficiently – Additional training will be provided
 •  Carry out manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
 •  Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
 •  Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals
 •  Adhere to project specifications and quality standards
 •  Report any issues or concerns to the Site Supervisor or Manager

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
 •  Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry
 •  Proficiency in operating construction machinery and equipment (Extra training will be provided)
 •  Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
 •  Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment
 •  Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
 •  Excellent communication skills
