You will be required to carry out installation/service works on systems such as intruder alarms, fire alarms, access control systems, CCTV, and automated gates.
Works are carried out in South East area (Kent, Surrey & Sussex) and make periodic trips to Central London (Once a month).
Current projects/works in areas such as East Grinstead and Bromley.
Fire And Security Engineer Position Overview
• Execute installations and conduct service maintenance for a range of electronic security systems, such as intruder alarms, fire alarms, access control systems, and CCTV.
• Ensure all installations adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service that exceeds customer expectations, establishing and maintaining effective relationships.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Work safely and responsibly during service or installations to prevent injuries, property damage, and loss of materials.
• Complete engineer work and service reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide handover certificates, SSAIB certificates, or checklists as appropriate.
• 1 in 3 call out.
Fire And Security Engineer Position Requirements
• Possession of a valid UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel within the South East area and make periodic trips to Central London (Once a month)
• Availability for 24-hour on-call duties on a rotating basis. (Will be discussed at interview)
• While previous experience in the security industry is advantageous, we provide comprehensive training for suitable candidates.
Fire And Security Engineer Position Remuneration
• £35,000 - £50,000 DOE
• Apprenticeship and training available
• 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
• Working hours 8am
• 5pm (40-hour week)
• Overtime available
• Tools, laptop, van & phone all provided
