House Service Supervisor

Residential and Business Services are looking to recruit a House Services Supervisor to join their team at David Russell Apartments and Fife Park The hall provides accommodation for students during termtime and accommodation for conferences and groups, Bed & Breakfast and self-catering guests during Summer.
David Russell Apartments and Fife Park accommodates over 1700 students split across 33 different accommodation blocks.

This is a permanent post, a 52-week contract working 5 days from 7. Hours per week are 36 weeks at 30 hours (termtime) and 16 weeks at 36.25 hours (summer).

This post involves working in team to carry out room inspections, visually inspecting rooms for guest occupation, monitoring and mentoring housekeeping staff and carrying out health & safety duties as assigned. There will also be some cleaning duties as and when required.

We are looking for a member of staff who will show a commitment to an excellent level of customer care and would enjoy working and leading staff in the team. If you have a can do attitude, want to make a difference and enjoy working with a diverse team then this may be the role for you.
Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
