Sure Start Staff have an opportunity for a Building Surveyor working on a temporary assignment until March 2025 for the Local Authority in Rochdale.
Employment Type: Temporary until March 2025
Pay rate: £19.81 per hour
Hours: 7.40hrs per day, 5 days per week, 3 days to be worked in the office
Location: Rochdale, Hybrid
Start: May 2024 for the right candidate
• It is essential that the Surveyor can produce CAD Drawing using AutoCAD
As a successful candidate, you will have experience of working relating to maintenance project work for Schools & Public Buildings.
Experience/Skills/Criteria
• Must have knowledge of current Building Regulations
• Must have knowledge of different types of building Surveys
• Demonstrate that you are able to undertake different types of building surveys (WLCC, Condition, Dilapidation)
• Able to produce AutoCAD plans, Elevations and cross sections building and structures
• Must be able to work to heights, using steps and ladders to carry out inspection on roof and roof voids and in confined spaces (e.g. cellars and attics)
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation and Project Management
• Knowledge of Construction and Building Surveying
• Ability to complete job related Risk Assessments
