About the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer job
The purpose of your role will be to ensure that all engineering duties are completed to the highest of standards in line with policies and procedures relating to the business.
Key tasks
• Plan and complete all PPM tasks as scheduled and update the site’s maintenance system accordingly with required corrective actions, provide and be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance where required and Completion of root cause analysis and engineering.
• Prioritise and complete maintenance requests/attend breakdowns in timely manner and update companies’ maintenance log system.
• Ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety requirements are always followed and handovers are carried out effectively and precisely, maintain workshop, tool bags and equipment is clean and in full working condition and accounted for.
• Oversee all chemicals / lubricants / materials have current up to date data sheets and specifications and be involved in change control process on any alterations to site fabric / equipment and plant.
• Issue of permit to work in line with policies and to ensure no work on site is undertaken without relevant documentation and control measures in place.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained to a high-level standard for machinery to run with minimal engineering DT and maintain inventory and stock control.
About You
The successful candidate shall have an experienced background in electrical & mechanical engineering ideally within the food manufacturing/fmcg industry.
• A keen eye for detail and a high level of mechanical precision.
• An organised individual with leadership qualities.
• IT literate particularly Microsoft Office.
• Prepared to be hands on as well as completing administrative reports.

The package includes Company pension, flexitime, on-site parking, referral programme and sick pay.
The working hours are Monday - Friday, 9 hour day shifts with flexitime.
