I am currently recruiting for a strong leader to look after a number of stakeholders within the Cumbria area. You will be responsible in leading the M&E aspects which leading a team of managers and operatives over a multi site portfolio. Responsibilities
 •  Responsible for delivery of hard services within the contract
 •  Minimising any technical and financial risks within the contract
 •  To engage with potential new stakeholders and engage in process to win new contracts
 •  To deal with business development and negotiation aspects
 •  Ensure the contracts are staffed by fully competent properly trained teams, with all post holders being appropriately skilled and experienced to undertake their role effectively, and that effective succession planning arrangements are in place.
 •  Responsible for all commercial acumen
 •  Provide a safe and healthy environment and working conditions for all employees.
 •  Ensure contractual commitments are met in accordance with contract SLA’s / KPIs and other requirements detailed within the contract documentation.
 •  Drive quality, innovation and continuous improvement
 •  Promote an open and direct management style that encourages progress and development with team members and client stakeholders
 •  Ensure financial policies and processes are effectively communicated, implemented and monitored.
 •  Ensure the provision of extra works and ‘out of contract’ works proposals have the required authorisations before commencing and that they are produced in a timely manner, in line with contract requirements.
 •  To responsible for keeping a successful relationship running with clients/customers
 •  Keep our customers’ buildings safe and compliant
 •  Control and monitor the performance of the specialist service provider and sub-contractors.
 •  Responsibility for the operational management and service delivery of all contracted services.
 •  Managing costs, maximising profitability in line with budget & the requirements of the contract.

Candidate requirements
 •  A technical qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) preferable
 •  A good background in work winning and negotiation
 •  P&L experience essential
 •  Experience within the FM environment
 •  A strong knowledge of compliance
 •  Experience of Contract Management - 2 years +
 •  Experience of looking after large sites previously
 •  A strong experience of management previously
 •  Running a technical team previously over multiple buildings
