My Client, a market leading specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Principal Civil Engineer to join their team based in Northampton.
Candidates are required to have a MSc and BSc in a relevant discipline including Environmental Science, Environmental Management and Civil Engineering and have experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Design and Drainage Strategies for residential developments.
Candidates are required to be confident individuals who can manage projects, mentor and check technical designs.
As a Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer, you will have the opportunity to join an established team in Northampton. You will be expected to complete varied residential, industrial, highways, railway, data centres, holiday parks and flood alleviation projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities, National Highways and Housing Developers.
You will be required to check technical work, mentor team members and complete the following;
• Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.
• Surface Water Management Plans.
• Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
• Drainage Design using Microdrainage.
• Flood Alleviation Schemes.
• Project Management and Client meetings to discuss project development and to develop new business opportunities.
• Check technical work and mentor team members.
You will be expected to work from the office 3 days per week.
