Production Operative
Job Role
We are working with a growing business in Peterborough that are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Operator to join their team. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for handling raw materials, assembling parts, operating power tools and MHE to ensure the efficient manufacture of their products.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Assemble components and parts according to blueprints and specifications
Operate machinery, power tools and manual handling equipment
Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards
Troubleshoot issues with equipment and machinery as needed
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Requirements:
Previous experience in production or manufacturing preferred
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Sense of urgency and work ethic a mandatory requirement
Hours of Work and Pay
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Monday to Friday dayshift
