π° Salary: Β£26,500 - Β£29,000 per annum, depending on experience
β° Hours: Monday-Thursday 9-5 , Friday 9-4.30 (37 hours per week)
π Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance and Payroll Administrator will have dual responsibilities in providing payroll support and assisting with financial processing.
π Key Responsibilities:
Payroll:
Manage the end-to-end processing of a complex payroll for approximately 700 team members, ensuring compliance with all payroll statutory requirements.
Respond to payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare ad hoc reports and statistics for management.
Stay updated on payroll developments and contribute to process improvements.Finance:
Support sales and purchase ledger processing, including month-end close processes.
Maintain accurate and timely completion of allocated balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist in the production and development of daily/weekly sales reporting.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other team members as required.
Support the Finance Manager with any other tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Finance function.πΌ Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in computerised payroll.
Knowledge of HMRC payroll filing.
Competent in payroll administration.
Intermediate Excel skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word and Email.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.π Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of financial systems such as Sage 50 Payroll, Sage 200
CIPP qualified.
