The Role
• Dealing with calls and emails from our UK customers
• Provide assistance and information on products, prices and availability to customers
• Receiving and processing of orders
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and after sales service
• Meet and greet customers booked via appointment
• Processing and packing of orders
• Receipt and processing of deliveries
• Dealing with scrap precious metal testing, valuation and purchase using the latest XRF testing techniques
• Housekeeping, filing, data entry, stock taking
• General administration tasks and provision of cover for absent colleagues as the business requires
Experience and Skills
• Well developed listening and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with members of the public and staff at all levels
• Excellent telephone skills
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent Maths skills
• Ability to retain knowledge and give advice and guidance about a range of different services
• Positive outlook and an enthusiasm for communicating the services offered by the company
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workload demands and new organisational challenges
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of information produced within the company
• Knowledge and experience of information technology including spreadsheets, databases and word processing would be advantageous
