Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience working with students with Special Educational Needs?

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
 •  Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
 •  Assisting the class teacher in implementing EHCPs and behaviour management strategies tailored to the needs of each student.
 •  Creating and adapting resources to support students' learning and sensory needs, including visual aids, communication tools, and sensory activities.
 •  Building positive relationships with students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and included.
 •  Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to ensure that the individual needs of students are met effectively and inclusively.
 •  Monitoring and recording students' progress and achievements, providing feedback to the class teacher and SENCO as required.

To be considered for this role, you must have:
 •  An Enhanced DBS check, demonstrating suitability to work with children and young people.
 •  Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, with a strong understanding of SEND and inclusive education practices.
 •  Preferably, experience working specifically with students with SEND, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
 •  Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
 •  A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.
