Job Title: Technical & Repair Centre Inspector
Location: Corby
Hours: Monday to Friday (Apply online only)
Pay: £23,000 per annum, plus discretionary bonus
Candidate: Driver with car preferred
Training ( up to 6 weeks over 12 months) is based in our Milton Keynes head office
(accommodation is provided)
Our Corby-based client is looking for an Inspector to join their team to carry out repairs, modifications, inspections and installations of their appliances in the inspection centre, warehouse and showrooms.
You will carry out several tasks, including:
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults
• Contacting customer to discuss the faut / issue
• Submission of technical reports on inspected appliances
• Carry out quality control inspections / modifications
• Carry out repairs to stock appliances
• Carry out re-plugging and safety testing
• Attend all training courses, both internal and externa, as required
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
• Electrical / Mechanical background (no qualifications needed - work experience to be proven)
• Domestic appliance knowledge
• Knowledge of tool & test equipment
• PC literate
• Flexible attitude
• Good telephone manner
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle
