As an HR & Recruitment Assistant, you will provide efficient and effective support to the Head of HR & Administration, the Senior Leadership Team, and the Registered Managers. You will help with a range of tasks, including staff recruitment, onboarding, and administration. Your responsibilities will include:
π Assisting the Head of HR & Administration in the safer recruitment of new staff, managing DBS applications, conducting background checks, and preparing contracts.
π Supporting the interview process by inviting candidates, conducting checks, and ensuring a smooth application process.
π Advertising vacancies on various platforms and managing the application process.
π Assisting in recruitment drives, bringing new and innovative recruitment methods, and working closely with the HR team to ensure best practises.
π Providing administrative support in the investigation and disciplinary process.
π Updating and processing HR policies and documents, including the Employee Handbook.
π Managing the company's website and social media accounts to share news and vacancies.
π Accurately recording and managing staff requests for leave and personal days.
π Assisting with DBS certificates and ensuring staff are members of the DBS Update Service.
π Attending recruitment events and creating marketing material.
π Processing HR reports and providing support during external agency inspections.
π Qualifications & Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
β¨ Strong administrative experience.
β¨ Proficiency in IT systems including Word, Excel, Email.
β¨ Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
β¨ A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
