We are recruiting for a large manufacturing plant just on the outskirts of Nottingham. The role is part of the maintenance team, and we are looking for a qualified building services technician (ideally apprentice-trained) to assist with the general maintenance and service of the factory, ensuring the safety and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas.
Purpose: Provide a fully Planned Preventative Maintenance, Breakdown, and Repair function to all Logistics Warehousing facilities.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
General buildings upkeep and fabric maintenance.
Accountable for providing fully planned maintenance, breakdown, and repair to all site facilities.
Also assisting with first-line maintenance of fixtures and fittings, for example: tightening screws on window hinges, maintenance on door handles, re-hanging doors, and other minor building repairs. Plumbing: unblocking sinks, traps, and waste pipes.
Preferred Skills:
Apprentice trained (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or Pipefitting); time served with a minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
Ability to prioritise and problem-solve.
Health and safety awareness.
The ability to be self-motivated and flexible.
Capabilities required:
Effective communication skills.
Highly motivated.
5 years + experience in a similar building services engineering field.
Time-served apprentice with a minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.

Days 07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday (40-hour week)
