• Planning and organising transport routes to ensure timely delivery
• Liaising with drivers to monitor progress and manage any issues
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
• Managing and updating transport planning system
• Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues
• Reporting any significant transport issues to management
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the logistics department
• Supporting the development of junior team members
The Successful Applicant
A successful Transport Planner should have:
• Experience in a transport planning or logistics role
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using transport planning systems
• A collaborative and proactive approach to work
